As a researcher and data analyst, Rachel has worked on projects exploring mass timber, prefabrication, and modular construction in BC and their benefits to the built environment. Her projects include the development of an inventory of mass timber buildings, which was used to report on the state of the timber technology industry in BC and its place in the construction ecosystem.

Her experience in data transformation, statistical analysis, and process modelling, in combination with her interests in access to housing and universal design, provides a holistic view of the construction industry and the communities it serves.

She has a background in community engagement, disability support and advocacy, and event logistics and coordination. Rachel studied business and psychology, focusing on operations management, human resources, and research methods at Simon Fraser University.
