Building a Culture of Construction Innovation

Scius was hired by BC Housing to summarize the key vision and ambitions of the 2016 Construction Innovation Project: A Vision for BC (which we were also involved with) and to provide a brief update on progress over the interceding 5 years.

The original report was published by the BC Construction Association, with support from BC Housing, and drew on insights gathered from a three-month consultation process with 450 industry members from across British Columbia and underpinned by eight months of research.

It makes the case that engaging pro-actively with innovation can have a positive impact on business and their ability to succeed. The report also outlines the key challenges facing the industry and the need for a made-in-BC construction innovation plan that can act as a model for the rest of the country.

The Construction Innovation Project was recognized by Clean50 as a Top Project in Canada.
