Julien Refour Tannenbaum

Data Scientist

Julien Refour is a data scientist with an extensive background in smart cities and government data analytics. Julien has collaborated extensively with various levels of government in both Canada and the United States, including federal, provincial/state, and municipal authorities.

His focus has been on developing and implementing innovative tools and strategies that enable these governments to harness the power of data and data science. This work aims to enhance their ability to serve their communities more effectively, leveraging cutting-edge analytical techniques to inform policy decisions and improve public services.

He believes in a collaborative approach where the end users of data-driven insights are included early on in the process. He is a graduate of McGill University, having received both an undergraduate degree in Physics and a Masters degree in Nuclear Physics.
